definately!! They are social creatures and can die of lonliness.
two females might fight two males might fight a male and female might breed then you'd have babies. if your going to get two i'd suggest putting them in different cages and trying them together supervised for a small amount of time each day.

either get two females or two males. they will only fight if they feel that their cage is to small for the two of them. if that happens invest in another cage. if you choose to buy a male and a femeale you could wind up with 20 new mice every 21 days. and that's per every female over 4 weeks of age.

Are you trying to get one more to add to the one you have or are you getting them at the same time??
If you're getting them both at one time, then yes, get 2...They are socail animals and enjoy company, just make sure they have plenty of space in the cage.
As far as male or female goes...you're better off getting 2 females...They are less likely to become agressive towards eachother.some males will become agressive no matter what, but females, pretty much always get along...
Don't get one of each, it will get WAY out of hand very quickly...
If you're getting one to add to another one's cage then it's a different story...
Males...if you have a male, you may not be able to get another one...they get territorial over their cages once they are alone and usually will not tolerate a cage mate...
Females will usually do fine if they are introduced properly...
If that's the case...let me know and I can tell you how to introduce them...(I don't want to make this too long with information that you may not want or need)
