they only think when thy are only seeing that thing for sure they dont think too far away from thm unless they are hungry is when they can think where they saw food previously
depending on the species they have very short short-term memory, what they think about probably leaves their minds a few or even one minute after thinking about it.

"Should I clean my left ear or right ear first" - that's what my bunny thinks. He usually goes for the right one first.
You will give me the food.I want the food.you want to give me the food.you will give me the food...was that a squirrel??? You will give me the food...
I dont keep any pets at home. Used to last time.
Dogs have X-Ray vision, proof: - How do they know when the last piece of meat is still on your plate ? they get all jumpy, and bang their Butt on the ground, like they're gonna miss out ?
Im pretty sure my cat is harbouring deep resentful thoughts about me.

im pretty sure i am crazy for thinking that

Im pretty sure my medications are ready
"Get this chain of my neck coz' mother nature is calling me Damn it!"

They may be thinking of keeping you in their place and they sitting out and watching you suffering the confinement. Remember nobody has a right to confine another creature even for a single second as you are impeding their Independence and freedom.
Dogs are thinking "They feed me, they care for me, they love me... they must be gods!!!"

Cats are thinking "They feed me, they care for me, they love me... I must be a god!"

Sorry, but I just couldn't resist!
I want my Beeno now - give to me know I don't want to wait - It seems that is what mine does if I am not fast to give them their treat if I get at home from work
Well since my kitties were adopted since they were 1 day-old [ they've been abandoned :'-( ], they grew up among humans, with few contact with other kitties! Even if I know it's hard to part with instincts, I can't help thinking they consider us( my family) as their role models! More so because they are always by my side, whatever I'm doing! So , I guess they're thinking that:

" We have to pay attention to what mom is doing, we'll have to do the same when we're grown up." lolz

That's why they can't help jumping on the computer desk, and follow closely as I'm typing.

Maybe when I dress up to go to uni, they're like, "that sucks, we'll have to go to school when we grow up, we won't be able to lay around all day."

Maybe when they portray themselves in the future, they think of themselves as standing on 2 legs, all dressed up, talking etc.

But hey, this is just my imagination going wild, how I wish they could talk though, I'm sure they'd be much more sensible!!!

Hopefully my hamster Harry is thinking what a darn fine life he has, and how lucky he is to live in a cage that is the size of buckingham palace. I hope he spends time thinking about how much he loves me and how well i take care of him!
