What on earth does this have to do with pets?
In the Air Force we pack non-lubricated condoms in our survival kits. We use them for water after we filter the water. We have also used them to keep our rifle barrels clean.
Although I do not know what this has to do with pets, I just had to share this story. My roommate's boy friend in college stretched one over his head just so it covered his nose, then he blew it up by holding his mouth shut and blowing through his nose, it made a really funny hat, until it popped and ruptured one of his ear drums. He was majering in theatre and had a lot of them on hand to make those packets filled with fake blood that they wear on stage when they are doing shoot-out scenes.
